We started our Junior camp today with a great group of skiers. Our first workout was a skate technique and L3 workout. Most people got 30-40 minutes of good fast skiing in. Our main goal was to follow some really good skiers. With this in mind, not everyone did exactly the same workout. The strongest skiers did 3X4km of L3 while others were encouraged to "jump in" and follow for sections.
Parker Tyler dropped in to help out and do the workout. She and Sophie (above) both made the US Jr World team while in high school AND they teamed for a bronze medal at Sr Nationals in the team sprint when they were in 12th grade!

After the workout we took a swim and then headed back for dinner.
Our evenoing entertainment included 2-3 ball soccer (including the physio ball), followed by a training talk and video review. Then it was off to bed..time to recover and rest up for tomorrow!
