Jessie gave a presentation on racing in Europe (WJC's, U23's, World Cups and World Champs). She was then joined by her SMST2 teammates to answer a bunch of questions about racing, travel, training etc...
We then went down to the school obstacle course and did 2-3 loops for warm up before returning to the soccer field for strength.
Andy, Matt and Sophie led a legs routine that included an introduction to Olympic Lifting.
Eric, Jessie and Poppet led a core routine.
Erika and Liz led an arms routine.
We split into 3 groups and each group spent 30 minutes at each station.
Everyone has been enjoying Power Bars both during the long workouts and after the hard workouts!
We finished up just in time for dinner, a couple of videos and then a trip to the village for some good old Southern R and R along with some hula hooping. Our own Alex Cobb won the hoola contest and received a new hoop for her efforts!
