This morning some kids tested skis while others did easy distance. We then gathered for some V1 technique work. We started by skiing up the hill 3 times w/o poles to try to find the correct body position and proper weight shift in order to keep both skis gliding.
We then went 1/2 up w/o poles and added in poles on top.
We finished with 4-5 climbs with poles. The hill was pretty steep and the snow was soft so it was a good way to work on feeling the snow and finding a rhythm vs just powering up.
